91¿ì²¥ Black Alumni Network
Established in January 1988, the 91¿ì²¥ Black Alumni Network (DBAN) addresses the specific concerns of, and advocates for, Black students and alumni.
With more than 1000 members across the country, DBAN exists to support, inspire and engage 91¿ì²¥'s Black students and alumni academically, professionally and socially via networks, initiatives, and programs, connecting alumni and students to each other and to the 91¿ì²¥ community.
Spotlight on Programming
DBAN Masterclass Series
DBAN hosted a series of virtual masterclasses led by distinguished members of the 91¿ì²¥ Black Alumni Network–an extraordinary community of leaders, innovators, and change makers. Each session showcased the exceptional talent, deep knowledge, and wide-ranging expertise of Black alumni who are shaping industries, advancing scholarship, and driving meaningful impact in their fields. Through their stories, skills, and insights, this series invited participants to learn, connect, and be empowered by the remarkable legacy and ongoing excellence of 91¿ì²¥â€™s Black Alumni.
DBAN annually honors students for their contributions to the Black, Indigenous, and/or People of Color (BIPOC) communities at 91¿ì²¥ and/or beyond. These individual(s), through strength of character and commitment, have demonstrated activism, advocacy, or distinguished service to campus and community.
