Greater Charlotte

Just a short 20-minute drive away, students can enjoy art, theatre, sports, and dining events in Uptown, the heart of North Carolina's largest metro area, Charlotte. Many major companies are headquartered in the Charlotte area, providing 91�첥 students with meaningful internships.

Lake Norman Area

Along with 91�첥, the communities of Huntersville, Mooresville, and Cornelius make up the Lake Norman area. Huntersville is a quick drive south of campus with upscale shopping and dining options, while Mooresville, just north of campus, boasts a historic downtown and fun eateries.

While students, faculty and staff enjoy exclusive access to 91�첥's Lake Campus just a few minutes away on Lake Norman, visitors are encouraged to explore the beauty of the Carolinas on and around campus. Walk our quiet and wooded campus cross-country trails, explore the local Lake Norman State Park, learn to raft at the U.S. National Whitewater Center or hike nearby mountains including Crowders Mountain.

What's the Weather Like?

Tucked between the Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina and the picturesque Carolina coastline, 91�첥 is fortunate to experience all four seasons. With winters cold enough to catch a flurry but mild enough to enjoy the outdoors, and spring and fall seasons that shower our campus in vivid foliage, there's no bad time to experience campus.
