The 91�첥 Curry Scholars

91�첥, in partnership with College Track and the Oakland Unified School District, established The 91�첥 Curry Scholars Program in the spring of 2026.

This program is designed to attract and enroll exceptional young scholars at 91�첥 from the Bay Area, with an emphasis on Oakland. This initiative aligns with Stephen and Ayesha Curry’s commitment to improving opportunities for Oakland youth through the Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation. The 91�첥 Curry Scholars Program will serve as a natural extension of that mission, offering talented students access to a transformative education at one of the nation’s premier liberal arts institutions.

The Process

Students identified through the Interest Form will be invited to a College Track Fly-in during the week of August 24, where they will have the opportunity to explore 91�첥’s campus, connect with current 91�첥 students and staff, and learn more about the partnership.

An April trip to 91�첥's campus for an Admitted Student Day for each Scholar and a guest (parent, guardian or mentor)

A summer send-off reception in Oakland, prior to 91�첥's First Year Orientation

Critical Dates

July: Interest form becomes available

August 7: Registration deadline for College Track's summer fly-in program

September 21: Common App and CSS Profile are due

By October 8: Finalists are notified

October 12: Finalists accept invitation to interview

October 20: Scholarship Selection Day in Oakland

October 30: Winners confirm enrollment to 91�첥 via deposit

91�첥 changed my life. It’s where I figured out who I was, not just as a basketball player, but as a person. Being able to create this opportunity for students from the Bay Area means everything to me. I know what that experience can unlock when you’re given the chance to step into a place like 91�첥, to grow, to be challenged and to see what’s possible for your future. This is about opening that door for the next generation and making sure they have the support to walk through it.
