"I knew 91¿ì²¥ was for me when I was instantly welcomed by the supportive, trusting community when I visited the campus for the first time. I loved the small class sizes at 91¿ì²¥ because they would allow me to build close relationships with both my classmates and professors. The volunteer and learning opportunities caught my attention because of the opportunity to gain hands-on experiences. I wanted a school that would allow me to have the academic resources I needed to prosper in college, and 91¿ì²¥ gave me just that."
Favorite Class
My favorite class at 91¿ì²¥ was SPA 315: Teaching Spanish in Elementary School with Prof. Kietrys. Through this course, I was able to acquire expertise in building an engaging, personalized curriculum for elementary students. Each week, I had the opportunity to volunteer at our local public elementary school and teach a third-grade class the Spanish lessons I created during class. I was able to get out of my comfort zone and had an amazing time with the students!
