Juli-Anne Atwood

Area Coordinator

Education

  • B.A. SUNY Oswego

Background

I serve as an Area Coordinator at 91¿ì²¥ for Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors.

In this role, I oversee residential communities across Chidsey, Cannon, Duke, and Sentelle Hall, and supervise a team of 18 student leaders, supporting their growth and development within their roles. I began my time at 91¿ì²¥ as a Residence Coordinator in August 2025 and transitioned into my current role in February 2026. My work focuses on building community within the sophomore and upperclass experience through engagement, connection, and intentional programming, while also addressing student needs and creating an environment where students can thrive both personally and academically.

Before coming to 91¿ì²¥, I worked at Franklin Pierce University as a Residence Director, where I primarily supported first-year students and supervised a team of Community Assistants. My experience in Residence Life began at SUNY Oswego, where I served as a Resident Assistant for three years.

More About Me

I’m originally from Chicago, Illinois, and I plan to continue my education in Mental Health Counseling and Higher Education – Student Affairs. My favorite part of this work is building genuine connections with students and being someone they feel comfortable coming to, while also watching their growth over time.

Outside of work, I love music (especially R&B), playing tennis, and dancing. I’ve also been playing violin for nearly 20 years. I enjoy expressing myself through my hair and fashion, and if you see me around campus, feel free to say hi or stop by my office!

P.S. I usually keep Hi-Chews, Lindor chocolates, and fidgets stocked in my office.
